Galaxy Z Fold 7 shows Ultra performance in new online benchmark

Samsung released the first official teaser for its next-gen Galaxy Z phones at Unpacked in the early hours of the day. It didn't name any phones per se but revealed a GIF depicting the outline of the Galaxy Z Fold 7. And it used the word “Ultra” a lot!

Whether or not the phone will actually be called “Ultra” remains to be seen, but it looked more like Samsung wanted to build up the hype by confirming that the Galaxy Z Fold 7 has Ultra-grade features. And today, a new online benchmark entry (re)confirmed what we expected. The upcoming phone stacks up to the Galaxy S25 Ultra in terms of performance.

Although this isn't the first Galaxy Z Fold 7 benchmark we see on Geekbench for the SM-F966B model, it does bring the phone closer to the performance levels we expect from an Ultra-grade phone.

Previously, when the Galaxy Z Fold 7 (SM-F966B) appeared on Geekbench in February, it posted fewer than 2,000 points in single-core and around 5,200 points in multi-core tests.

In this recent Geekbench entry (via @ZionsAnvin), we see synthetic performance levels similar to the Galaxy S25 Ultra. The Galaxy Z Fold 7 (SM-F966B) scored 2,896 points and 9,226 points in single and multi-core tests, respectively.
